So it don't seems like a big deal now. I sent them a complaint letter as well and yet they replied me same kind of shit.
Probably they have set some GUI thingy or whatever automatic reply. So, all complaints would probably have the same replied. Just don't count on them,like they will fix your problem immediately. They are not so efficient I believe. I'm not trying to be like namewee, I'm not gonna be vulgar. I'm not gonna scold bad words or anything. But it's seriously pissed me off like mad.
What fault I'm still paying every month that I couldn't even browse a web page?
i used to think the same like u b4.
but after i used P1 Wimax, Celcom, Maxis.
i found that Streamyx is the best among all of them...
its a sad thing, but it is true.
although Streamyx customer support is sux, but the speed and stability win P1 Wimax, Celcom, Maxis.
now i only use Celcom when i am at outdoor, Maxis already returned the modem after i tried 1 day, Maxis is total crap.
and my P1 Wimax modem, i almost slam until the modem break. At green signal area the speed also sux and not stable.
so this is y i say Streamyx is more stable.
but for Streamyx customer service, nothing to say lah, u have to call them during office hour. customer service operator at night shift will make u heart attack....

for domestic use, they is no need to use 1.o mbp
512 mb is far good enough..
to save money, better revert to 512 mb.. if there is no connection prob, speed is not an issue at all.. u can dl or watsoever at high speed with 512 mb..
r u using a wireless modem?
if yes, there may be connection issue with it..
if u use cable and the line is not good..based on my experience...
is the problem with ur telephone line.. i had encountered this problem those days as my house got 3 phones using a same number.. Telekom may need to check ur house phone wiring and also the port at ur housing area..
For streamyx, it is usual to have low speed at afternoon, and should have high speed at night..
At usual times, it is very difficult to be unable to connect to internet using streeamyx cable at home..
If after reset also can't fix the problem, i think it is other related issue and not definitely streamyx..
though streamyx line is not good but it is just sufficient enough for daily use..
streamyx is not good..

yeah, 512kbps is much better than P1 Wimax 1.2mbps.
due to my work reason, i have to use at least 1mbps since i am connecting to multiple servers at the same time.
guess wat? the speed can go up to 1.8mbps at midnight. damn nice!

Yeah, I upgraded to 1mbps.It's slow but whn i was using 512, it can't even connect to the internet during the afternoon. Can u see how serious the problem was. Tht's why I upgraded. I'm not sure about other network but I think all of them are so dead if compare to other country. Yeah, who doesn't know, right. LOL.
Hahaha....Streamyx SUX, but it's still the best in malaysia. SIGH.

anyway, it is very obvious that ur phone line got problem. It might be there is viruses in ur PC and hogged all the bandwidth.
Ask someone who know more about PC and check it for u, coz not all virus is detectable.
If confirmed that it is not the PC problem, then u should complaint to TM Nuts. but it would be useless if u just call. Find someone who know more about computer & Network, go to "Menara TM" and do a complaint overthere.
Menara TM is the best place to complaint as the quality of customer service is very good, coz they work in the HQ, if there is complaint about their attitude, the boss will just come down stair and fuck them off.
so go to Menara TM. now i only go Menara TM for complaint, never go to those pukimak branch to do complaint as I already know they will behave like pukimak.

by the way,m i agree with Tony Wan, Streamyx is still the best among all ISP in Malaysia now. But of course, u cannot compare them with those Cable connection service or fiber optics service ISP which is not available is majority places.
