To have but not to hold

Well, it's been sometimes that you haven't seen me on blogospheres. Aren't you? So, konichiwa to all. Received my greeting yet? Ermm, there's nothing's up to recently, no photos available which I know it's pretty bored to read thousands or billions of words without images to give you a break. But no choice, I've been busying with classes and Chinese New Year is sticking near. I don't even have a chance to take a shot, tell me what kind of photography should I shoot with my rebellious partner? All the places I've been to, was just mamak, cafe, restaurant. Argh, I seriously need a proper shot, man!

Guess you are not waiting for me to mumbling around and complaining when can I have some great photography or some sort of stuff like that.
Have you ever heard of one of the poems was To Have Without Holding by Marge Piercy. Maybe you don't because I just gotten it by flipping thru the articles and been attracted with the title. That's why I started to post it up.
So it says.

It hurts to love wide open
stretching the muscles that feel
as if they are made of wet plaster,
then of blunt knives, then
of sharp knives.

It hurts to thwart the reflexes
of grab, of clutch; to love and let
go again and again. It pesters to remember
the lover who is not in the bed,
to hold back what is owed to the work
that gutters like a candle in a cave
without air, to love consciously,
conscientiously, concretely, constructively.

Another way round, have you ever hold a bird after it has crashed into a window pane and you take care for it just only until it is ready to fly again. Your kindness, your caring, your loves towards the bird is just to have but not to hold.
