What's with the photo of blocking an eye with DSLR?

I can't see why people nowadays like to pose with their DSLR. The weird pose like camwhoring themselves infront of the mirror with the DSLR covering one of their eye. Is it a new trend started to take over the peace sign pose on photos? Sooner, the peace sign is faded away and you can't even see any sign on photos but only the pose with one eye. Much like a pirate with his eye patch, perhaps DSLR is more than the eye patch. It's the best precious thing to me if I would have one. So yeah, Alvin! Stop throwing ur DSLR on bed, put it in order please. Alright, you can obviously get the strong smell of jealousy here. In fact, I do want a DSLR. It need not to have extra optical lenses or zoom, cause I just need it to capture HQ photography. It doesn't have to be x 1000000 zoom, not like I'm gonna shoot a dinosaurs from a few miles away, not like I'm a reporter or mass com student. That's right. I want it badly just like how desperate you wannabe a superstar. Have been craving for cash, found a lot of freelance job from website, had sent them resume but I don't seems to have any feedback! Why? Couldn't be FP (face problem) right? So, if you think that's the problem, you might probably a dumb ass.

DSLR, the precious eye patch.Like this? Does it looks more professional?Kinda..

But

I would prefer this kindda pose.

This is obviously nicer, to me. At least you know what's the object you're targeted when camwhoring. It's you, the charming faces. Unless your targeted object is the DSLR, you can put it else where to get a best shot rather than using it to hide one of your eye.

That's all about my opinion, no offense okay? Of cause you can do whatever pose you like, it's up to you. You can even naked yourself, I don't care much . Because I usually don't comment/criticize on any of the nude photos I've accidentally seen on internet. Some of you might think it's all about ART and Scientology told me it's all about organs. And Who cares as long as it's not yourself/myself?
